Terrarium x Yoga Collab with Hotpod Yoga York
Join me at Hotpod Yoga in York for our special Wellness afternoon!
This collaboration is always so popular and we can’t wait for another afternoon of terrarium making and restorative yoga!
You’ll learn all about terrariums, how these self-contained ecosystems survive so well on their own and how to look after them. We will start with a short introduction explaining the history and science that goes into building a terrarium, from the different plants you can use to why activated charcoal has become our special ingredient. Then it is up to you guys to roll up your sleeves and build your own! You will be supplied with a terrarium jar which you can fill with various plants and an arrangement of pebbles and moss.
Ask any questions you have and by the end of the session you’ll have your own exciting miniature garden to take away and watch develop over the next few months and years. All contents, jar and tools are supplied and I’ll send you home with a bag to pop your terrarium in - plus a care guide with my details on if you have any further questions.
———
After finishing your terrariums we will step into the pod for an hour of Nurturing Flow - a deeper, slower, restorative class. A calmer tempo and strong focus on passive and meditative postures, combined with the signature Hotpod heat of 37 degrees. You will melt further into your practice, leaving your body gently worked and you mind relaxed and calm. Ideal for beginners, anyone suffering from injuries or just looking to nurture their body + mind.
(I can’t wait for this!)
(parking available on site)
CANCELLATION POLICY: Please note that tickets cannot be refunded within one month of the workshop date. Cancellations within 10 days of the event will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
