Join me at Harewood House in Leeds for a Terrarium Workshop!
You’ll learn all about terrariums, how these self-contained ecosystems survive so well on their own and how to look after them. We will start with a short introduction explaining the history and science that goes into building a terrarium, from the different plants you can use to why activated charcoal has become our special ingredient. Then it is up to you guys to roll up your sleeves and build your own! You will be supplied with a terrarium jar which you can fill with various plants and an arrangement of pebbles and moss.
Ask any questions you have and by the end of the session you’ll have your own exciting miniature garden to take away and watch develop over the next few months and years. All contents, jar and tools are supplied and I’ll send you home with a bag to pop your terrarium in, plus a care guide with my details on if you have any further questions.
BONUS!
Each ticket includes a tea/coffee during the workshop and also gives you access to the beautiful grounds at Harewood House - so why not make a day of it!
